Helane Morrison - Work Experience

Helane Morrison started her career as a clerk at the law office of Richard A. Posner of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit before working as a clerk in the United States Supreme Court under Harry Blackblum.

10 years later, she joined the SEC in the San Fransisco District Office. During her time their, she was promoted to the position of regional director and was the first female working in this branch to ever receive this title.

She left the SEC years later to pursue her career at Hall Capital where she currently serves as General Counsel, Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer. Her work here has led her to be recognized as one of San Francisco BizJournals Women on the Move for her efforts in creating a more balanced workplace. Her focuses include equality in pay, longer and paid maternity and paternity benefits and creating a culture of flexibility and resiliency.
